What is the Food Diary?

Very simply, the Food Diary is a place where you can track what you eat on a daily basis.

Originally, this application was intended for personal use only; however, why not share?

Feel free to use the Food Diary as often as you like. The service is completely free and in the future we will be adding new features that will hopefully make the whole process that much easier and successful.

03.26.2008 - The new interface is launched!: I've worked hard to try and integrate all of the features of TheFoodDiary.com into one page. And today I have launched that new interface. Now, without clicking through different pages, you will be able to access your diary, make new meal entries, view past meal entries, and access our new Weight Loss Projection tool all from one page. More improvements will follow, but for now, I hope you enjoy this major enhancement.

03.23.2008 - Weight Loss Projection: While it has been a long time since a new feature has been added, today we added our new "Weight Loss Projection" tool. The first time you click on this section, you will be prompted to insert some details about your current weight and your goal weight. When you submit, the Weight Loss Projection tool will calculate your BMR and display your running total based on your caloric intake. And every time you enter in a new meal, those calories will automatically be added to your Weight Loss Projection tool to make this nice an easy. For future updates, we are working on a more comprehensive interface so you won't have to switch back and forth so much. But, for now, the info is there and ready for you to use... Enjoy!

01.03.2006 - Trainers Welcome!: As The Food Diary continues to grow in membership, some personal trainers have decided to use The Food Diary with their clients. You are all welcome to do so and we invite you to send us your feedback and suggestions that will make the diary work better for you. Contact us at any time.

11.15.2005 - Edit Your Food Entries: You can now edit and delete foods entered into your diary. Look for the "edit your foods" link just above the food drop down menu to access this feature.
